Have you ever wondered about the massive amounts of beads produced for jewelry? Think about how easily (and how often) your children break their bead necklaces, bracelets, etc... what about the costume jewelry you USED to wear and then grew tired of. Where does it all go? To a yard or estate sale if the Earth is lucky, but too often it ends up in a landfill.
My mission is to take no longer loved beads and create new, fun, hip, fashionable pieces. This saves energy, natural resources (such as petroleum... where do you think those plastic beads come from?), keeps degrading toxins out of our landfill (do you know what becomes of plastic once it finally does break down... some 700 years later? Ugh... it's not pretty.)
We use ANY reclaimed bead. Wood, Glass, Stone, Plastic, Paper, Metal, etc... If the bead has previously been loved, we want to remake it so you can love it again. Because we use reclaimed materials, our selection changes often.
